I guess "men who give up their own will/personality for a girl" deserves its own thread, as well as "I hate stupid people" should have its own BOARD! 
I've seen people give up their lives, their dreams, their interest - "themselves" in the end - just for a girl (or a boy, if they were a girl). It's really amazing, how strong feelings can be. It'd be interesting if someone would agree to slowly die some suffering death, just so that his "adored" one would love him/her.
I guess it'd be a quite large number of people who'd do this... *sigh*
What what do do about it? They'd probably be suffering even worse if you'd keep them away from their girlfriend/boyfriend. (But I presume that this would be better after all)
