Why does gil always say he's AFK even when he's not and has been at his keyboard for like 3 hours or some shit.... It's GHAY....

Easy - iam almost always at least semi-AFK, so rather than people yelling at me for not answering, i keep the AFK in my nick. I also tend to just go away in the middle of a conversation :)
