Virtualdub: error message "Failed to build filter graph ..."

Virtualdub: error message "Failed to build filter graph ..."

[PROBLEM]
Opening Virtualdub in capture mode, suddenly brought up this error message:
CapDShow: Failed to build filter graph: render capture pin (hardware display)
[SOLUTION]
As complicated as the error message might sound, as trivial is its solution:
Virtualdub was opened twice on the same computer - in capture mode.
So both Virtualdub instances were fighting over the capture device - and one lost ;)
