Collection of unknown freeze issues

Post by ^rooker »

New hardware, new setup - unknown "freezes".

Behavior:
* Xorg: Mouse pointer movable, nothing else moves.
* Ctrl+Alt+F[1-9]: Works, and presents login prompt.
* Login on shell presents welcome message, but never reaches the prompt.
* Ctrl+Alt+Del causes systemd messages to show up on the terminal, but the machine won't reboot.

This thread is just a collection of error messages in logs or wherever, so I may be able to put the puzzle together in the future:

/var/log/kern.log

Jumping out of an airplane is not a basic instinct. Neither is breathing underwater. But put the two together and you're traveling through space!
