AudioTool: GoldWave

Post by ^rooker »

GoldWave's probably the best audio-software if you're looking for a program that is affordable, small and fast!

I've tested quite a lot of audio applications for PC and I must admit, that the quality of the internal effects supplied by GoldWave are not "top of the pops", but for most things they're sufficient.

This program is really tiny in disk-size, doesn't need any installation (just unzip to a directory and run) and it's handling files real fast and has a very good user-interface for cutting (compared to WaveLab).

Check it out at www.goldwave.com.

PS: I suggest using the 4.xx version, because the 5.xx version is a bit larger and more ressource-consuming - and they've changed the effects-dialoges, too. :(
