CUPS: Unexpected 'document-format' operation attribute

Post by ^rooker »

[PROBLEM]
CUPS on Raspbian 8 (Jessie) acting as printer server with HP LaserJet Professional P1102w.
It works fine when I print whole documents (e.g. PDFs), but the printer does nothing when I select only certain pages (odd, even, current page, etc).
Weird.

/var/log/cups/error.log on the server says:
W [16/Nov/2016:15:50:53 +0100] Unexpected 'document-format' operation attribute in a Create-Job request.

[SOLUTION]
The client is Xubuntu 12.04, running CUPS 1.5.3-0ubuntu8.7, but the server is running Raspbian Jessie (based on Debian 8) with CUPS 1.7.5-11+deb8u1.
There might be compatibility issues here...

Not yet confirmed though.
To be continued...
